Wildfire Mitigation
In 2025, Maine experienced over 750 wildfires—more than double the 20-year average for the month of August alone. While we aren't facing California-scale conflagrations yet, the increasing frequency of "High" and "Very High" fire danger days suggests that the time for a strategic resource approach to land management is now.
